Born in Boston and raised in upstate New York until the end of his high school years, Mike is no stranger to urban communities or the beautiful southeast United States. He attended the University of Tennessee and graduated from East Tennessee State University with a BS degree in Business Management.


After college, Mike spent two years in Swaziland, Africa with the Peace Corps as a small business consultant to the local tradesmen. Not only did he have to teach the locals about commerce and finance but he learned valuable skills in communication and negotiation. It was a fascinating cultural experience and still plays an integral part in his life and business in so many ways.


Following this time, Mike worked in resort management, including Director of Ski School operations at Ski Beech Resort in northwestern North Carolina, and several years after as a manufacturer representative for Salomon North America, a snow ski equipment company. After moving to Palm Harbor Florida in 1987, Mike continued his sales career with Bauer/Nike Hockey as a territory manager for their In-Line Roller Hockey and Ice Skating Division. Fewer sales training opportunities are as in-depth as those provided by Nike. As a leader in its industry, Nike not only taught Mike great selling skills but also has given him a great background in branding and promotion.


Mike has been a Realtor for over 16 years and has continued to focus on his commitment to be the best. Mike’s ability to listen to his clients’ needs, attention to detail, and his dedication to going the extra mile have earned him the rank of the top producing residential agent in his office. With his many years of experience and with his GRI accreditation he has the skill sets to deal with all facets of a Real Estate sale or purchase. Mike is proficient also in financially distressed properties as well as bank-owned investment properties. I searched for two years to find a house in Treasure Island and it was not until I started working with Mike that my dream came true.
